Trinity of brewing

I've got three beers right now - one in each stage. A hoppy trinity if you will.

Brewing

Last night I finished up knadstout1 based on the Beer At Home stout kit. Most everything went to plan, though I boiled the grain bag a little long and added in the fuggles aromatic hops a little early in the boil. The original gravity is 1.048 and I just added the yeast and set that carboy aside. Taking my standard sip from the gravity testing vessel it's a pretty delicious sucker. I'm not very good at knowing what it will be like based upon a sip of the wort, but I have some good hopes for this stout.

Bottled

Last night I bottled off knadipa4 - based on the Beer at Home IPA kit but with double the bittering hops and I used a secondary fermentation where I added in a second set of aromatic hops and left them on for 2 weeks. That may have been 1 week too long but I guess we'll find out in about 10 days :)

Belly

With some left in the fridge, some in my hand during brewing last night, and some in my belly is knadipa3 based on the "Stomp Them Grapes" IPA kit. Frankly, it's been a little underwhelming on the hoppy side, but that could be my own mistakes. I guess I'll just have to try it again!
